QAFL
The QAFL (Queensland Australian Football League) is the premier state-level men’s competition in Queensland. Sitting just below the VFL and AFL, it features highly competitive and historic clubs across South-East Queensland. The league is known for producing elite talent, developing AFL players and showcasing high-quality football. The QAFL provides a key pathway for athletes moving from junior and Colts programs into senior football, while still maintaining strong club culture, local rivalries and community identity.
QFAW
The QFAW (Queensland Football Association Women’s) competition provides a structured pathway for female athletes to play competitive senior football. Positioned below the QAFLW, it includes multiple divisions to cater for clubs of all sizes and abilities across Queensland. QFAW is essential to the growth of women’s footy, supporting player development, fostering club culture and encouraging participation for women and girls in Australian Rules Football.
